On May 8, 1893, the Roger Sherman Chapter NSDAR, Inc., was the ninth chapter to be chartered in the State of Connecticut.
This chapter serves the New Milford area and surrounding towns. The chapter is one of 42 chapters that make up the Connecticut Daughters of the American Revolution, Inc. (CTDAR).
Our current membership includes women in New Milford with additional women from 14 states.
Our members believe in serving our veterans and active military personnel, participating in historic preservation, and supporting education programs throughout the year.
These are just a few of our initiatives. We welcome you to visit the pages on this website to learn more about our chapter.
