Chapter members attend state conference
The Roger Sherman Chapter NSDAR, Inc., was the ninth chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution to be founded in Connecticut and number 174 in the country. It was organized on May 8, 1893 through the efforts of Mrs. Frederic Boardman and Mrs. D. B. Randolph Keim, Connecticut State Regent. The first meeting of the chapter was held at the residence of Organizing Regent, Mrs. Henry Mygatt along with twelve other ladies all eager to present their membership application.
